Hard road ahead for Crewkerne cycling duo
6:30am Saturday 28th January 2012

TWO teenagers from Crewkerne have been back to school to tell students about their fundraising cycling challenge.
Lee Brayshaw and Jack Stevens, who used to go to Wadham School, will be setting off from John O’Groats on June 6 on a 900-mile, ten-day ride to Lands End.
The fundraising challenge is in aid of Everyman, which raises awareness of and funds research into male cancer.
Lee and Jack, who hope to raise more than £1,000 for the charity, spoke with staff and students to promote their fundraising venture when they returned to Wadham.
Lee said: “I am really excited about the challenge ahead and we have been training hard to make sure we are ready for the all-important start date.
“I had a very close family member affected by male cancer, so we are both determined to raise all we can to support the vital work being carried out by Everyman scientists at the Institute of Cancer Research.”
