Collision on Ilminster by-pass

FIRE officers were called out last night to deal with an accident on the A303 Ilminster by-pass.
The alarm was raised at just before 6.30pm to a two-vehicle collision on the westbound carriageway.
On arrival they found that there was still one person in one of the vehicles.
The fire officers helped the paramedics to free the casualty who was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
