Crewkerne student set for Cambridge University

FORMER Wadham School student James Darby has received an offer from Cambridge University to read natural science at St John's College.

James, of Crewkerne, is one of 18 students currently studying at Richard Huish College in Taunton to have received offers from Oxford and Cambridge this year.

College principal Dr Peter Avery said: "We're understandably very proud of the achievements of our students, and they wouldn't get this far without their own really hard work and the support of their parents, schools and college."
