CROSS COUNTRY: Minehead pupils run for Somerset

MINEHEAD Middle School pupils Joe Barker and William Hawker represented Somerset at the regional cross country championships in Exeter at the weekend.
The 12-year-olds were members of a ten strong squad that racing against six other counties from the South-West.
The course was over a very testing three kilometres which featured hills, ice and lots of mud.
Joe finished in 47th overall and fourth for Somerset while William finished 62th overall and ninth for the county.
